Clean Tech Conference in NYC – How to Follow It

February 23rd, 2011

Jefferies Group, Inc. (NYSE: JEF), a global securities and investment banking firm,  is hosting their 11th annual Global Clean Technology Conference February 23 and 24 (that’s today and tomorrow as we write).

Jeffries announced this event quietly on February 15 via a press release and did not include registration information. This conference appears to be invitation only.

Jeffries says the conference “will feature presentations from over 100 leading public and private companies across the clean technology and renewable energy spectrum, including solar, wind, smart grid, energy storage, biofuels, biomaterials, energy efficiency, energy infrastructure, fuel cells, geothermal, advanced lighting (LEDs), transportation and water.”

Are you interested in working or continuing to work in the green tech industry? Want to press your nose up against the window and learn what’s going on inside? (Tip: A great way to build connections through a conference presentation you cannot attend is to listen to the proceedings, then follow up with a speaker with a thoughtful e-mail or handwritten note. You can often do this through Twitter, but this one doesn’t seem to be shared.)

You can register here to see selected Webcasts. Once you’ve registered, you’ll see a list of programs (no details) and hyperlinks to the 31 presentations that will be made public
