Eventful Opens New York Office

San Diego-based Eventful, a social media site that allows users to customize content and share concerts, festivals and events they care about, has opened in an office in the City that Never Sleeps.
Matt Spielman, formerly a VP of Client Services at MTV Networks, has been tapped to serve as General Manager of the Northeast Region, and Vice President of Strategic Partnerships.
Eventful’s hiring for content and product management positions in San Diego. No jobs on the site for New York, but here’s a creative idea: send Mr. Spielman a few ideas on the cultural differences in marketing to New Yorkers versus Californians. We can think of a few…
