Position Summary:

The Rentals Office Supervisor will assist Rental Office Manager in all aspects of the Rental Office functions including, but not limited to; assisting in the training of office staff, ABI, SMS, Job Diva, outbound calling. Responsible to perform all functions in the absence of the Rental Office Manager. Other duties as assigned by Office Manager. This person has great computer skills, is willing to help out wherever needed and committed to delivering outstanding customer service. Helps train agents and assist leads as necessary. Shifts and days off vary according to business demand. Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and on call shifts. Most work performed in the boat rental office

Essential Functions:

  • Perform daily opening and closing procedures
  • Assist in all aspects of the Rental Office functions including daily checking in of agents cash drawers, checking out of agents cash drawers and assisting other leads as necessary
  • Assist in the training of office staff on the SMS program and other office duties as required by Rental Office Manager
  • Facilitate increased revenue with outbound calling for pre-boards, upgrades and other add on items
  • Responsible to perform all functions in the absence of the Office Manager
  • Ensure cleanliness and pleasant atmosphere of work area at all times
  • Effectively communicate with guests and employees as necessary
  • Exceptional customer service skills are needed
  • Able to work with diverse populations in a supportive and positive manner
  • Develop a strong knowledge of SMS reservation system, Job Diva and ABI
  • Must be honest, dependable and forthright, with the ability to confidently work without direct supervision
  • Maintain a positive attitude – always be willing to lend a helping hand wherever needed
  • Maintain positive attitude in high stress situations
  • Must be flexible - willing to work a varied schedule
  • Report to work in proper uniform
  • Other duties as assigned

Status and Scope:

  • Rental Supervisor reports to the Rental Office Manager
  • Must have strong organization and communication skills and be able to interact with a diverse workforce and customer base
  • Rental Supervisor should have an attention to detail focus and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment



  • Strong English communication skills are required – must have the ability to read, speak, write and understand English
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Computer qualified in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access; ability to learn SMS system, ABI & Job Diva
  • High level of guest service
  • Previous supervisory and sales experience preferred
