Regional Installation Service Manager

The Regional Installation Service Manager will be responsible for coordinating all operational aspects of the regional business for Installation Service in USA and Canada. This position will supervise a growing business in the region with a strong focus on H&S, cost controlling and continuous improvement plans in the execution phase. The position requires strong leadership skills in order to promote and drive cross functional teamwork with sales representatives; engineering & quotation team and directly reporting own staff aiming at providing the best solution for our customers.

Responsibilities and duties

The following is a summary of the main responsibilities of the Regional Installation Service Manager position. Additional duties may be assigned through project work, auditing, or additional oversight of programs:

* Coordination of continuous improvement plan for the region

* Optimization of the workforce between the different locations

* Active source of proposal for operational improvements and processes optimization

* Supervision of the business KPI's and development of necessary action plans

* Organization of weekly follow-up meetings

* Central player in the cross functional communication between operational business and support services (HR, Accounting, Legal, Financial Analysis...)

* Supervision of post mortem analysis following project/events

* Supervision of cost controlling on projects

* Supervision of major price offers/contracts

* Coordination of pricing and technical solution definition with the local Business Manager and The Sales Representative

* Support of sales team in the development of new business opportunities

* Conducts annual appraisal interviews, succession planning, and development of all directly reporting team members

* Management of health and safety policy for the region

* Management of the regional teams

* Will require 60% traveling both in and out of the United States

Required education and experience

* Engineering or Business Management Degree

* Knowledge of refractory installation is strongly preferred but not required

* 5 + years in an upper level management role

* 5 + years of Project Management experience

Additional skills

* High proficiency with MS Office Suite of products, specifically MS Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

* Ability to interact with staff, partners, and the general public with a calm and professional demeanor, pleasant and clear tone of voice, and follow through with their requests.
