CNA Ahead Program The purpose of the program is to build a pool of CNA#s who are ready to transfer into one of our many units as positions become available, reducing our time to fill and increasing patient satisfaction. This program offers a launch pad for CNA#s to train in a variety of departments including Medical, Surgical, Ortho Neuro, Oncology, Progressive Care and Behavioral Health. At the end of the 6-month training, you will have the opportunity to apply to the areas you have floated to and eventually find one to call your home!#Are you a CNA looking for a new opportunity? About the CNA Job# As a CNA you will perform various direct patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You are the perfect fit if you enjoy a job that is fast pace, uses critical thinking, and you have a passion for providing excellent patient care. In this job you will assist patients in dressing or undressing, bathing, or eating. As a CNA you will collect non-invasive body fluid specimens or gathers vital signs but will not start or administer intravenous fluids. You will aid physicians and nursing staff members with procedures if needed. In this job you will document patient interactions as needed.# Minimum Requirements # Qualifications Minimum of High school diploma or GED required# 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified preferred. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required.
