Overview

Come join a friendly and diverse clinical team that provides quality care! Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Clinician/ Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in Worcester.

Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) is a comprehensive clinically focused service anchored by a multi-disciplinary team that provides clinical coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year through an integrated team led by clinical staff. ACCS serves adults 18 years of age or older with a significant mental health or substance abuse diagnosis. ACCS Integrated Teams provide clinical interventions, employment support and peer and family support to facilitate engagement, support functioning and maximize symptom stabilization and self-management of individuals residing in all housing settings. The Persons served through ACCS reside in group living environments, supported individual environments, Intensive clinical or Intensive Medical group living environments or in independent living environments in the community.

Participates in multidisciplinary treatment teams, provides assessment and coordination of treatment for Persons struggling with substance use and facilitates substance use education groups. Works closely with Persons to understand how the use of substances, and/or potentially addictive behavior, negatively impact the Person's life in multiple ways.

Responsibilities

* Provide ongoing teaching and modeling to teams/Intensive GLE's and provide direct interventions and supports to Persons

* Provide direct clinical treatment to adults including: Screening & Assessment, Crisis/Emergency Assessment & Intervention and Treatment Planning & Individual Counseling

* Participates in interdisciplinary diagnostic treatment and planning conferences.

* Consults with other program staff regarding Persons services and case management.

* Maintains Persons records and administrative records according to agency policy

* Attends staff meetings as required.

* Attends in-service education, clinical supervision and professional meetings as required

* Attends daily Rounds with other team members.

* Will provide transportation to persons as needed. May include transporting in individuals in personal or program vehicle.

* Performs other related job duties.

Qualifications

* Grade 6: Clinician II: Bachelors degree in a related field

* Grade 7- Clinician III: Masters degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling or related field) that meet the academic requirements for licensure in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the individual is licensed as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or is actively working towards licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

* Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) required

* Must also have at least 2 years of experience in the substance use & recovery field

* Current valid US-issued drivers license and a registered, inspected and insured automobile for work related purposes including transporting clients in a personal vehicle or company van and travel between work sites

* Must be able to pass a CORI background check
