Position Summary

CVS Health is looking for a talented and agile analytics professional to join the Retail Customer and Marketing Analytics team. This team is focused on enhancing the corporate understanding of the CVS Pharmacy® retail customer and measuring marketing initiatives across multiple business lines, including Front Store, Pharmacy and Minute Clinic.

The Marketing Analytics Advisor will focus on gaining deeper understanding of CVS Pharmacy customers and maximize the effectiveness of customer centric marketing strategies by leveraging advanced analytics. Key responsibilities will include analyzing consumer behavior, developing and implementing test designs, building predictive analytics models, measuring the business impact of marketing programs, evaluating business trends and leveraging data to make business recommendations. The ideal candidate will have an advanced analytics background with experience in retail or healthcare

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Build predictive models in statistical programming tools (SAS, R) using advanced data science concepts (e.g., regression modeling, time series forecasting, classification, data clustering, advanced machine learning techniques)

* Leverage advanced statistical methods (i.e. Time Series Model) to drive incremental online sales and understand online consumer conversion behavior

* Analyze social, digital and search data to help develop benchmarks, optimization strategies and develop digital marketing analytics solutions

* Query large data sets (billions of transaction records) in Teradata platform using SQL to assess the customer buying behavior

* Develop and recommend new digital KPIs that tie back to incremental offline sales

* Evaluate Paid Search and Social partners and recommend in-campaign optimizations to drive incremental sales

* Develop and implement campaign test designs that will enable effective measurement and insight into efficacy of marketing programs

* Develop and execute approaches to analyze information relating to retail customer behavior, including segmentation, migration, and valuation

* Integrate consumer data from multiple internal and external sources to create awareness of business opportunities and support the development of new marketing initiatives

* Produce scorecards and enhance customized reporting to enable better decision-making by internal teams

Preferred Qualifications

Masters degree preferred

Tableau experience preferred

Required Qualifications

* 5 or greater years working in analytics with a track record of delivering insights and business impact

* Expertise in SQL and related experience working in an enterprise data environment

* Experience using data analysis and visualization tools such as SAS, SPSS, R, Python, SQL, and Tableau

* Experience with advanced analytic techniques, such as predictive modeling, regression analysis, A/B testing, marketing mix, and life-time value

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

* Strong oral and written communication skills

* Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and ability to learn quickly

* High levels of self-motivation and attention to detail
