Product Innovation Vendor Advisor

Position Summary

Part of managing our PBM clinical products is to ensure our vendor partners are performing in accordance to contractual obligations. There are a number of vendor partners that are leveraged across our clinical product portfolio. This role will be responsible to ensure that we are managing day to day action items, vendors are complying with corporate vendor oversight procedures, keeping track of issue logs and tracking, following up on escalations and presenting vendor performance to Clinical Product Management leadership. Additional responsibilities include assisting with the coordination of audit responsibilities required by the vendors as well as oversight and monitoring. The role will develop and manage program vendor planning documents, client oversight packages, and work cross-functionally with the product teams to ensure all deliverables are being met across our vendor partners.

* Manage day to day vendor activities. This role will follow the product program plans to assure our vendors and team are up to date with open program tasks, client support and issue resolution.

* Maintain Action Item and Issues log. Ensures all items are worked, documented, closed.

* Monitor vendor performance reports. Work with vendors to build strategies to mitigate under-performance to goals.

* Support CVSH client reporting processes.

* Communicate and resolve project issues on all assigned projects, using appropriate change control, escalation, risk control, and other PMO processes.

* Support facilitation of audits, issue resolution, root cause analysis and performance goals with vendors.

* Track and assure policies, procedures and work instructions from our vendors are reviewed annually.

* Policy & Procedure management. Ensure all CVSH P&P are updated and loaded into P&P Portal each year and/or as needed.

* Develop and maintain audit tracking dashboards and issue tracking dashboards for each vendor and present to Product leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

* Specific experience with Project Management, Vendor Management, Audit/compliance

* 3-5 years' experience in a PBM or health care experience.

Required Qualifications

* 3-5 years' experience in a position required to perform problem solving, problem analysis and creative solutions;

* 3-5 years' experience in managing moderate projects or equivalent experience

* Some experience in leading and managing a diverse groups of direct &/or indirect team members

* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Visio

* Strong communication and organizational skills.

* Ability to manage concurrent projects and use effective judgment in prioritization and time allocation

* Must be results-oriented; possess ability to set the right expectations based upon the timelines and workload of cross functional stakeholders; drive the project and keep others on task to meet goals.

* Demonstrated team player, able to develop cross functional relationships and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
