Minute Clinic Operations Senior Advisor

Position Summary

The Senior Advisor will have operational responsibility including; planning, estimating, day-to-day management and administration of small, medium and large sized projects or portions of Minute Clinic programs.This position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Operations and Growth.Works within the full project life cycle and collaborates with stakeholders from various enterprise disciplines: Technology, Clinical, Revenue,Compliance, Operations, IT and Business teams as well as relevant Functional Managers to ensure the project adheres to CVS Health standards. Must provide solutions that meet the business objectives and deliver on time, on budget and with a high degree of quality.

Experience in both clinical & operational settings, with exposure to major organizational-wide initiatives. A wide degree of matrix resource management experience is expected. This position requires strong leadership and organizational skills to direct project participants from remote locations. The ability to work directly with cross-functional departments, including operations, physician management,information systems, business analyst, field leadership and clinical providers is essential. May directly manage teams from these cross functional departments on particular projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: ·

Providing oversight of program/project initiatives and acting as primary liaison to internal and external partners.

Participates in the development and support of Minute Clinic strategy.

Lead projects focused on access management and improving the patient experience.

Advise and collaborates with staff on solutions, products, and approaches.

Manages relationships with vendors and clients as needed.

Oversees ongoing management (monitoring, maintenance, on-going evaluation for improvements and general strategy) of clinical and operational programs.

Translates highly complex concepts in a way that is consumable by various audiences.

Implements, monitors, and reports on large integrated project plans.

Ensures deliverables, goals and project objectives are being met.

Works with directors, managers, and project support staff to establish and maintain a project schedule.

Administration of projects including forecasting, setup, and tracking, project financials, time/expense reconciliation and enforcement of standards.

Must be able to learn business systems at a very detailed level.

Works directly with a wide variety of customers, including management, clinical providers, Retail Operations, Finance, Senior Leadership, external vendors.

Must be able to quickly understand and have the ability to re-engineer current business operations and processes to improve business results.

Proven ability to work effectively independently and with teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and to quickly adapt to changes and new ideas.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a healthcare organization.

Process Improvement/Lean/Six Sigma experience or training.

Ability to understand and identify business and technology needs, and deliver solutions.

Exceptional organizational skills, analytic and problem solving abilities.

Ability to collaboratively lead across multiple levels.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; clearly, effectively and professionally.

Experience implementing technology and process solutions in a clinical setting required.

Demonstrated leadership or managerial experience.

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software.

Ability to lead and influence others to affect change.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of Project/Program Management experience

Minimum 5 years of Healthcare or related experience
