Engineering and Engineering ServicesJob Summary:

The Maintenance Technicians are responsible for daily reliability and machinery health monitoring of critical plant equipment. Secondary skills should include other maintenance areas for maintaining, repairing, and/or replacing physical equipment in the plant safely, correctly, and efficiently.

The incumbent will work a traditional 40 hour work week, Monday through Friday with some overtime and call outs. The company will offer state of the art training to the level of Maintenance Technician V through practical on the job training and also through offsite technical seminars.

Job Description:

Monitor machinery vibration and perform vibration analysis with CSI 2130 Machinery Health Monitor. Work closely with operations and maintenance department to maintain vehicle reliability. Perform oil changes on various pumps, motors, and other plant equipment. Complete a monthly schedule of work in a timely manner. Enter and complete work orders on the computer using a computer maintenance management system.

Internal Controls:

Understands and complies with established departmental processes and procedures designed to support internal controls efforts. Identifies and brings to the attention of department management internal controls deficiencies.

Successful Incumbents will have:

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to maintain health, safety, and environmental standards as a personal performance core value

Basic computer knowledge

Basic mechanical knowledge and ability

Physical capability, availability, willingness, and ability to work in a team environment

Good interpersonal & influential skills combined with the ability to work as a team player

Willingness to work occasional overtime and be on call

Ability to work under minimum supervision

Willingness to travel for training

Effective organizational skills, time management skills and communication skills

Self-motivation in advancing to the highest level possible

Academic degrees, certifications and licenses preferred

Chemical or manufacturing plant technical knowledge and/or related work experience preferred
