Production Coordinator/Planner Job in Vancouver, WA

Located North of Vancouver, WA, a manufacturing company is looking for a Production Coordinator/Planner position. The Production Coordinator will work with purchase orders, demand on products, and order status of shipments. This position requires a heavy understanding of the supply chain management processes. A successful candidate will possess a professional, self-motivated attitude along with a positive personality. This is a yearlong contract, with an hourly pay rate of $17-$20.

Production Coordinator Job Responsibilities:
-Help with client services and actions on supplier issues
-Forecasts the time frame a project will take to from start to finish
-Contact between clients, suppliers, Human Resources and maintenance employees to guarantee supplies are available upon request
-Responsible for confirming location of deliveries; when they are prepared and when they are shipped
-Accountable for delivering purchase orders based on the want of the consumers

Qualifications:
-Degree preferred but not required
-Two plus years of purchasing experience
-APICS certification recommended
-Proficient in Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint
-Ability to get assigned tasks completed without a verbal order
