In this unique role, the Revenue Accountant II is a key contributor to proper recording of the Company's revenue transactions with a focus on the UK and Germany businesses. As a revenue specialist, this role ensures revenue related to our EMEA region is complete and accurately reported in line with policies, processes and regulations. In addition to ensuring proper revenue reporting, this role supports the day to day needs of the business, as the Revenue Accountant II works closely with our sales teams and across other departments to help ensure a smooth quote to cash process. This individual is expected to perform a strong overall revenue review, maintain solid organizational skills and function proficiently with varying day-to-day task volume, especially at quarter end. This role will report to the Senior Manager, International Revenue.

Job Description

* Review contracts and related transactions under the guidance ASC 606 for the Company's EMEA entities, as well as deferred revenue account reconciliations.

* Review of large value deals prior to submission to customers ('red lining')

* Develop and foster relationships with the existing EMEA Sales, Legal and Marketing teams

* Execute and maintain various revenue cycle SOX controls

* Assist in the ASC 606 commission asset calculation and analysis

* Assist in the preparation of reports for the company's Senior Management Team and external disclosures


* 2-5 years' Finance experience working in a software/tech business

* Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or economics. MBA and/or CPA a plus

* Experience with software revenue recognition and ASC 605/606

* Strong Excel skills and experience with a tier one ERP system

* Strong communication (written and verbal)

* Outstanding attention to detail

* Willingness/Eagerness to work flexible hours to support EMEA business (such as 7am-4pm EST) and to expand knowledge of international matters (VAT, Intercompany transactions, etc.)
