Job Responsibilities/Knowledge Areas/Qualifications

Position will manage the following programs out of our Alpha location:

* Alpha



Knowledge Areas:

* Substance abuse treatment principles, standards, and best practices

* Community resources

* Supervision practices

* Performance evaluation

* Program planning and implementation

* Program evaluation

* Drug and Alcohol Treatment principles, standards and best practices

* Familiarity with Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), the Targeted Capacity Expansion (TCE) and Technology Assisted Care (TAC) funding announcement

* Mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders outpatient treatment programs

* Use of technology assisted care (TAC), e.g. interactive mobile and web-based resources

* Clinical Counseling practices as they relate to BCCS activities

* Administrative and Leadership practices as they relate to BCCS activities

* Knowledge of the Prevention and Behavioral Health standards and requirements regarding contracts

* Behavioral Health treatment principles, standards and best practice requirements, including Federal and State regulations

* Drug and Alcohol Treatment principles and clinical practices, standards and best practices


* Pre-employment

1) Education, experience, and Certification

a) Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Sociology, Psychology, Human Services or related field with a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a treatment capacity.

b) Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC)/Certified Co-Occurring Disorders Professional (CCDP).

* Continued Training and Certification

1) Maintain CADC/CCDP.
