We are an overlay organization inside of the (PLG) Partners Licensing group.

About the Role:

This Administrative Assistant will assist Lynne Thornton and the PLG management team on a variety of daily tasks and projects.

They will be heavily involved with the Ingram Women’s Forum.

Perform administrative duties for an individual, group, or department.

May work for one or several department professionals, division heads, officers, or managers. Activities include a variety of secretarial and administrative duties such as: travel arrangements, calendar maintenance/scheduling, departmental reporting, presentation preparation, meeting coordination, report preparation, meeting minutes and correspondence, etc. Create and edit documents, spreadsheets and presentations. Manage schedules, arrange appointments and itineraries. Coordinate meetings, travel, conference calls, and complete expense reports.

Answer and transfer phone calls.

Remain knowledgeable of business unit policies.

May make contacts of a sensitive, complex, and confidential nature.

May Coordinate Activities between departments and outside parties. A3: Performs varied tasks and completes assignments with little or no assistance. Incumbents are proficient in the various competencies relevant to their job. Works under limited supervision with latitude for independent judgment.

What you bring to the role:

Seasoned individual contributor. Works under limited supervision for routine situations. Provides assistance and training to lower level employees. Problems typically are not routine and require analysis to understand. Makes minor adjustments to working methods.

Explains practices, procedures and policies to reach agreement with others outside of the job area. Provides administrative or technical support at a senior level. Proficient in the various competencies relevant to their job. May act as a lead or mentor to more junior technical or administrative support personnel. Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.

Generally works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Normally receives little instruction on daily work. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments. May be informal team leader.

Education:

Two year college degree or equivalent experience and minimum 3 year experience in functional area. OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years functional experience, preferably at a senior level. Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
