Company Description

Kelly Services is looking to hire several Site Logistics Operators/Material Handlers in Knoxville, TN for an industry leading chemical company. For this opportunity, you could be placed as a Chemical Finished Product Operator or a Polymers Packaging/Warehousing/Shipping Operator on a long-term, indefinite assignment. You will be working with chemicals and should be comfortable doing such - either with previous experience or the willingness to learn.

• Locates, identifies, and stores warehoused materials in storage locations.
• Strongly prefer candidates with experience in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift experience is preferred, but not required.
• Candidates who have been required to work on his/her feet all day in a similar work environment are highly preferred.
• Candidates must have Steel Toed Metatarsal safety shoes are required on the first day.

Education and Experience

• This person must have a high school diploma/equivalent
• Be able to work on his/her feet all day in a fast paced environment
• Prefer candidates who have experience with a handheld scanner/RF gun and 1+ years of warehouse experience.

Term of Assignment

• Schedule will start off as 8:30am-5pm, but OT may be available (from 7am-5pm).
• Must have a high school diploma/equivalent and be able to work on his/her feet all day in a fast paced environment
• This is a full time, contract position, starting on May 2017 to October 2017 based on candidate performance and client need.
