Sales Executive

Essential Responsibilities:

* Independently manage assigned customers to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

* Generate significant new business with the products and solutions offered by LEONI's Business Unit Fiber Optics.

* Develop and maintain excellent, long-standing customer relationships.

* Identification of customer requirements, needs, and trends within the assigned markets and deduction of strategy.

* Participation at trade shows and organization of trade show campaigns.

* Cooperation with the global Sales Team.

Additional Responsibilities:

* Keep complete and accurate CRM log.

* Sales and account planning for the assigned accounts.

* Forecasting based on the opportunity pipeline.

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications:


* Bachelor's Degree in technical field (Math, Computer Science, Natural Sciences, or Engineering) or at least seven years of relevant experience in Sales.

* Willing to travel domestically and sometimes internationally.

* Track record of successful sales performance.

* Enthusiastic team player with a drive to close the deal.

* Quick learner, eager to expand their horizon.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Excellent IT knowledge (MS Office, Salesforce, SAP).


* Master's Degree in technical field (Math, Computer Science, Natural Sciences, or Engineering).

* At least three years of experience in technical sales, e.g. in the Fiber Optics Field.

* Experience with Miller-Heiman or similar sales techniques.
