Job Description

Job Summary:

The Market Director, Kansas serves as the clinical professional development market leader to ensure the consistent alignment, delivery, performance, and evaluation of multi-faceted clinical professional development programs to drive standardization and support achievement of the Quadruple Aim and clinical care priorities.

Responsibilities:

* Stewards the market clinical professional development vision, strategies, and initiatives that support Ascension strategic objectives while enabling a regional delivery model to serve a community of inspired, capable, and flourishing clinical providers.

* Aligns Ascension clinical professional development strategies with the strategic priorities of the assigned region, and its entities, by collaborating with others in creating and conducting needs assessments and providing meaningful data to leaders.

* Acts as organizational change partner with Regional Directors and key stakeholders to achieve clinical priorities.

* Manages the Market clinical professional development teams to achieve organizational goals.

* Participates in the development of clinical professional development services with budget stewardship to ensure alignment with organizational needs and strategic direction.

* Stewards program quality, analysis of program effectiveness, as well as overall efficacy of clinical education in achieving strategic business priorities.

* Guides the implementations of clinical professional development strategies that enhance the learning of providers and staff to contribute to the development of leadership skills.

* Aligns clinical professional development operations with the strategic priorities of Ascension, and its entities, by collaborating with others in creating and conducting needs assessments and providing meaningful data to leaders.

* Cultivates collaborative relationships with nursing, pharmacy, and allied health educational institutions.

* Aligns metrics to reflect services provided and includes benchmarking to external organizations.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's Level Degree. Bachelor's level degree required in Nursing, Allied Health, Organizational Development, Education, or Industrial/Organizational Psychology required.

* Three (3) or more years of technical education experience in healthcare education, or other related field, required.

* Licensed Registered Nurse, allied health specialist, or similar patient care experience.

* Experience with the full spectrum of clinical professional development services to include interprofessional simulation programs, clinical libraries, and continuing education credentialing processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's Level Degree Preferred. Master's degree in Nursing, Allied Health, Organizational Development, Education, or Industrial/Organizational Psychology preferred.

* Seven (7) years of Leadership/Management experience is preferred.

* Five (5) or more years of technical education experience in healthcare education, or other related field preferred.

Effectiveness in this role requires in depth knowledge of/experience with:

* Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

* Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

* Education leadership experience in a Healthcare setting.
