JOB SUMMARY:

Createstructural repair and modification documentation including detailed repairinstructions and substantiation analysis in support of FAA certification forall Textron Aviation Propeller and Jet aircraft models.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Reviewdamage data, Engineering Drawings and Digital Data to ensure efficient loadpath and adequate structural strength and stiffness for repairs and modifications.
2. Interfacewith Customers, Customer Service, and Service Center Personnel.
3. Coordinatecross functionally to support business needs.
4. Developdetailed repair installation procedures.
5. ProvideEngineering recommendations for minor repair development and dispositions.
6. DevelopStandard Repairs to be published in Field SRMs.
7. Analyzemodification packages to ensure adequate structural strength and substantiatefor certification requirements.
8. UtilizeFinite Element Software to solve complex structural problems.
9. PrepareStructural Reports in support of FAA compliance findings on aircraft repairsand modifications.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelorsdegree required in:
  • AerospaceEngineering
  • MechanicalEngineering
  • Otherrelated field

• Must be able to manage projects of various size and scope.
