Northrop Grumman Technology Services Sector is seeking an Industrial Engineer 1. This role will be located at Whiteman AFB, Missouri.

Our team provides full spectrum support to the B-2 Stealth Bomber at Whiteman AFB including aircraft modifications, maintenance, supply chain and logistics, pilot training, mission planning and engineering. The selected candidate will gain in-depth experience with engineering drawings, process specifications and planning instructions used to build and modify aircraft. This position will be instrumental in improving current processes and delivering new aircraft capabilities to the USAF customer faster.

As a Professional Development Program (PDP) candidate, you will participate in a three year rotational training program to develop competencies in a variety of specializations. You'll participate in assignments that will leverage your degree and academic experience.

The PDP rotations offer the opportunity to experience a variety of job assignments before making a commitment to a particular position. The assignments will provide valuable experiences that will broaden the participant's knowledge of the business and help guide each individual in obtaining his/her career goals. The program will support the individual's growth through training, skill development, and networking opportunities. This program gives its participants the ability to choose their assignments from a variety of departments based on their skills, areas of interest, and availability.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute the installation of B-2 Bomber upgrades by the Northrop Grumman modification team.

* Analyze and design sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiency.

* Assist with the creation of detailed shop operating plans.

* Provide job and aircraft zone specific tier schedules to reflect critical path, shop operating budget and manning requirements.

* Provide daily production requirements to shop floor supervisors.

* Create recovery and work-around plans as required.

* Provide analysis of performance data and perform time studies as needed to identify improvement opportunities and ensure accurate values are forecasted.

* Update, distribute and present to the team weekly visual graphics & metrics that reflect operational performance, constraints, action items and job delays.

* Analysis of supply chain and logistics support.

* Assist in conducting business case analysis for facility modifications, equipment or tooling purchases, and staffing requirements to optimize mod team performance.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or similar engineering degree.

* Minimum 3.25 Cumulative GPA.

* Familiarity with process flows, manufacturing principles, and production operations.

* The ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Security Clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Active DOD Secret (or higher) security clearance highly preferred.

* Familiarity with simulation programs and manpower modeling.

* Experience in Aerospace would also be beneficial.

* Familiarity with master scheduling, tier scheduling, and critical path method scheduling techniques.

* Detailed understanding of MS-Office products, especially MS-Excel and MS-Project.

* 3.7 Cumulative GPA
