The Photo Stylists specialize in providing hands-on wardrobe/apparel styling for Backcountry’s e-commerce catalog. This is an opportunity to apply a keen eye for detail in a fast-paced studio environment. You’ll be responsible for providing 1:1 model styling for our Fall / Winter product line. The ideal candidate will be quick to adopt studio standards and holds an interest in fashion & catalog photography.

Our Salt Lake City studio is operating at limited capacity under protocol designed to assure health & safety for all team members involved. Proper sanitation measures, social distancing, face masks, and daily temperature checks will be required.

This is a full-time seasonal position available July - October 2020.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assure wardrobe is paired and styled according to Brand guidelines
• Assist model on-set with props & apparel
• Assist photographer with image selections
• Organize and maintain productions areas and prop closet
• Support prep & general production needs as needed
• Contribute to creating best-on-class product images
• Demonstrate reliability and conform to strict shooting schedule

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Experience styling in professional e-commerce studio
• Familiarity with styling techniques and current trends
• Detail oriented with strong eye for aesthetic
• Collaborative with strong communication skills
• Self motivated, can work efficiently with little direction
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Willingness to take on a variety of production tasks
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion / Retail Merchandising, Photo, or other related field is a plus
