Change Management Analyst I

General Summary:

This position reports to the Manager, Change Management and is responsible for the administration of the IT Change Control process for the organization.

The Change Analyst I function will work with IT support teams and associated business sponsors to ensure the Change Management process is understood and followed. The Change Analyst I will guide internal customers through the required Change Management steps to implement productive system related changes. The Change Analyst I will analyze changes for risks and impacts to the production environment.

The successful candidate will need strong verbal and written communication skills, be self- motivated, detail oriented, and able to work independently. In addition, the candidate must be able to work with and build relationships with multiple partners across the organization to ensure effective delivery of a change.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Drive adherence to defined change management processes and where appropriate initiate training to resolve non-conformance

* Assist in development and maintenance of Change Management policy and procedures

* Daily hands on administration of the Change Management process

* Write, prepare, and review IT communications regarding Change Control schedules

* Attend a or lead daily meetings to review change requests and associated scheduling

* Ensure the appropriate risk and impact assessment has been undertaken

* Ensure all change requests and approval data is accurately maintained

* Verify changes are scheduled without conflict and/or implemented as part of a scheduled downturn timeframe

* Provide recommendations to improve the effectiveness of change management processes

* Identify and communicate failed or unauthorized production system changes

* Support quarterly self-audit as directed of the change management process

* Produce management reports, metrics and information to all stakeholders

* Participate in internal and external audits as required

* Approve or deny appropriate change requests in a timely manner

* Follow-up with approvers to ensure timely closure of Change requests

* Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information

* Support the company's safety program.

* Support the company's harassment-free work environment policy.

* Support TBC Code of Business Conduct

* Conduct other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Education & Experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in IT Operations, Change Management, Information Systems or related curriculum

* Understanding of Change Management concepts and processes

* Ability to handle multiple tasks and capable of managing priorities accordingly

* Knowledge of Project Management methodologies is desirable

* PC skills, MS Office tools including WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint are required

* ITIL Foundations and Service Transition Certifications are desirable

* Working knowledge of Ivanti/LANDesk Suite

* Basic knowledge of SAP landscape architecture
