Sr. Maintenance Technician
Sr. Maintenace Technician needed for a leading global manufacturer located in Chicago. In this role you will peform a variety of equipment and facility related maintenance tasks required to keep the plant running at maximum efficiency. This is a first shift role providing a nice work/life balance with plenty of upside.

Works safety in a facility and notifies appropriate person of unsafe practices or conditions and follows up to ensure appropriate actions are taken.
Be able to troubleshoot, identify failed components and repair electrical equipment.
Performs preventative maintenance functions in order to improve machine output and performance.
Must be able to work in a team environment
Installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems.
Studies blueprints, sketches, machine parts, or specifications to determine defective items and repairs needed.
Visually inspects and tests machinery to detect or prevent wear, misalignment, or other problems.
Detects equipment malfunctions and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
Realigns and adjusts equipment and components.
Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearing, gears, and other parts of machinery.
Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment.
Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
