The Foreman Technical Services supervises and coordinates a team of employees covering salt water disposal wells, water gathering pipelines, one call line locates, equipment maintenance work on all field sites and construction involving dirt work (such as site and lease road maintenance, post rig and post completions site cleanup, site reclamations, etc).


High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in applicable field is preferred


Requires a minimum of 5 years of related industry experience in Exploration & Production operations with at least 3 years of related industry supervisory experience


* Ensure that field operations are being conducted in compliance with all applicable local, county, state and federal regulations

* Ensure that work is completed in a safe, efficient, and environmentally sound manner

* Support the health, safety and welfare of all personnel working within his/her area of responsibility including visitors, contract personnel, and company employees

* Demonstrate safe and ethical behavior at all times and has an obligation to stop work if unsafe conditions exist or are suspected

* Monitor group's operating expenses and optimize costs

* Continually evalute the group's operations and look for ways to increase efficiencies and productivity

* Interact daily with Engineers, Production Foremen, Lease Operators, and Contractors to define, organize and complete projects

* Work with Operations staff to prioritize maintenance work and repairs to help minimize production losses

* Serve as a liason point of contact for stakeholders (i.e. Operations, Ops Engineering, Production Engineering) relating to day to day work and activities responsible for as assigned this Technical Services role

* Responsible for safe operations and maintenance in assigned areas

* Mentor, train, review, and develop new personnel to the group


* Oil and Gas Industry Experience Preferred

* Must live within a 55 mile NE radius of the Weatherford Field Office

* Demonstrate commitment to Devon Attributes

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Strong leadership, supervisory and coaching skills

* Creative individual, capable of analyzing and solving mechanical and technical problems

* Technical background in Cygnet and/or SAP experience preferred

* Able to work within a team environment

* Able to travel and work extended hours

* Position requires operation of Company vehicles, therefore candidate must maintain a clean driving record and adhere to Company policies
