Job Description

Responsible for the general maintenance and repair of the facility and its systems. Responsibilities also entail knowledge in preventative maintenance procedures, troubleshooting guidelines, work request documentation, spare parts appropriation, and inventory control.

Required Qualifications

* Demonstrated expertise in the use of basic hand

tools.

* Knowledge of basic mathematics.

* Ability to read blueprints, sketches, drawings and

general schematics.

* Skillful in general mechanical diagnostics and repair.

* Available to work overtime in emergency situations or

as needed.

* Flexibility to adapt to changes in work schedule as

needed

* Ability to operate and be certified as an Operator of

powered equipment as needed.

* Proficient knowledge of conveyors, hydraulics, electrical

and pneumatic systems

* Work with sensors, VFDs, circuit boards, relays, limit

switches, flow switches, trouble shoot motors &

conveyors, PLCs.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experienced in mechanical, electrical and pneumatic

conveyor system maintenance and repair.

* Experienced in programmable logic control repair and

diagnostics.

* Experienced in AC/DC arc welding and gas

welding/cutting.

* Physical Demands: This position has a (0-33%) lifting

requirement up to 75lbs. Other physical activities

include frequent bending/reaching/stooping: (34-66%);

frequent walking, standing, climbing (34-66%).

* Work Environment: Warehouse environment, which

includes seasonal temperature changes, rolling

equipment, and conveyors.

Education

* High School diploma or G.E.D preferred
