In this position, you will be responsible for fulfilling a variety of needs which includes creating documentation for systems implementation, execution of the systems, and facilitating end user needs. In addition, you will train users and develop training programs to operate the systems.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

* Server setup to include configuration of disk partitions, active directory, and SQL database functions

* Understand and apply software manipulation, business logic, and the navigation and interfacing with other technology support organizations

* Operate multiple communications networks, to include desktop computer systems, intelligence systems, and other voice/data links

* Participate in business continuity exercises, internal reviews and self-assessments

* Reduce vendor cost by reducing need of unneeded service support or tickets

* Assist in new site setup, software and hardware implementation when necessary

* Respond to systems related emergency calls

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

* Must possess one or more of the following:

* High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years experience security ACAMS (Access Control Alarm Management System)

* Two-year degree in Security Administration or Information Technology

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

* Must possess a minimum of two (2) years of work experience as a security systems administrator to include access control software, personnel surveillance systems, closed circuit television, fiber optics, thermal camera video motion detection, programmable logic controllers, perimeter intrusion detection equipment, barriers/gate systems, and camera inspection

* Must possess a professional-level understanding of server setup to include configuration of disk partitions, Active Directory, and SQL database functions

* Must have a work history demonstrating the thorough understanding of physical security best practices

* Must possess the ability to easily understand and apply software manipulation, business logic, and the ability to navigate and interface knowledgeably with other technology support organizations

* Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher

* Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States

* Must be able to travel with little to no advance warning

* Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).

* Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable

* Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Environment: Indoor, office, minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures
