POSITION SUMMARY

Leads the warehouse staff to operate and facilitate the daily work of the distribution center. Manages the performance reporting of the distribution center including inventory levels, supply cost control, staff overhead and other expenditures. Establishes daily and weekly distribution goals and objectives and ensures the execution. Supervises a small group staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Maintain the Inventory accuracy by utilizing all programs used by the service organization

* Provide system support to the team

* Gather, organize, and review inventory and document reports

* Schedule work load based on volume need

* Leadership - Setting goals for the work group, developing organizational capability, and modeling how we work together. Conducts and ensures the completion of performance reviews

* Manages the environmental performance of facilities by monitoring electricity, natural gas and water consumption, responding to issues, ensuring resolution through repair, potential credits, and working with the landlord and Utility Companies to investigate issues as applicable. Interfaces with landlord and government departments to adhere to lease standards and code policies

SELECTION CRITERIA

Education / Experience

* Bachelor's degree or 5+ years distribution experience, including a supervisory role

* Logistics management experience preferred

* Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Access

* Experience with warehouse vehicles and machinery.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Excellent time management skills
