Position Summary

This position supports the BCG Federal and broader Public Sector Practice Area financial operations. Individual will play key role in supporting theses operations with comprehensive financial management reporting and analysis in order to meet the needs of ongoing business and overall financial performance of the firm.

The Senior Financial Analyst position focuses on the following core areas:

* Government contracting support and analysis

* Government client service and support, with particular emphasis on finance and accounting regulation and compliance

* Practice Area and BCG Federal entity financial performance reporting and analysis

* Pricing development and analysis

* GSA Schedule administration

* Time and billing system entry and reconciliation

* Timesheet and Expense reimbursement management

* Accounts payable

* Ad hoc requests

Job Responsibilities

Practice, Entity and Client Service and Support:

* Case Economics: WIP, Budget analysis, Fees and Expense forecasting and estimates-to-complete

* Contract tracker and repository management – robust process for tracking Contracts, Blanket Purchase Agreements, Task Orders, Deliver Orders, and Contract Line Item budgets and spend

* GSA Schedule administration and management

* Develop and maintain Entity, Practice Area and Client specific reporting

* Provide pricing and proposal support

* Manage accounts receivable and collections

* Case close out

* Online Gov't financial and invoicing databases as required

* Vendor and subcontractor management

* Ad hoc as required

Budget, Planning and Analysis:

* Produces annual operational budgets and forecasts in accordance with regional and global guidelines, business trends and line management

* Develops bottoms up Responsibility Center budgets and forecasts in conjunction with functional groups

* General understanding of consultant capacity planning process and measures actuals against objectives.

* Completes and provides reporting of multi-year summaries and variance analysis for both high-level and line item budget components

* Tracks, develops and maintains transparency amongst key stakeholders of important financial metrics

* Practice Area trend analysis, dashboards and meeting decks as required

Accounts Payable:

* Review invoices for proper account coding and approve for payment

* Maintain process to ensure all monthly recurring invoices are paid timely

* Develop electronic invoicing and upload process with key vendors

* Ensure proper approvals and controls are in place

Local Accounting:

* Input and reconciliation of employee profiles in T&B system. Responsible for capacity/staff status changes as they occur.

* Manage and update Consulting staff billing rates and pricing tools/outputs

* Work with US General Ledger team and Global Accounting & Control on the monthly and annual closing of books

Ad hoc financial projects and reporting as needed
