Position Description: The CET Registrar is responsible for performing clerical and/or record-keeping tasks on the automated student system as required to handle student application, registration forms, scheduling, sending and receiving student transcripts, records, and student attendance. The Registrar also assists with the maintenance of records for grant monitoring and staffing and supervision of the CET front desk.

Schedule: Full Time; 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Qualification:

Required: Associates Degree and 1 year experience in higher education institution.

Preferred: Bachelors Degree and 1-3 years experience in higher education institution.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

* Ability to meet and work effectively with the public, particularly the target student population.

* Ability to type at least 40 words per minute.

* Experience as a school registrar.

* Experience in computer data preparation.

* Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all employees.

* Knowledge of office procedures

Expected Contributions:

* Reporting: Performs registrar functions such as assisting with required reporting on academic standards, enrollment and the student academic records. Maintain and compute enrollment reports, keeping class enrollments. Comply with data requests for grant reports, such as graduation, enrollment, placement and retention. Keep student attendance records. Complete weekly attendance records. Prepare data for computer processing.

* Registrar: Appropriately refer applicants for Financial AID Assessment. Maintain, receive and send student records and transcripts. Manage the front desk. Act as backup test proctor as needed Performing other duties as assigned
