JOB SUMMARY: The Maintenance Worker will provide housekeeping and basic maintenance for the facility.


* Prepare, arrange and clean rooms as assigned.

* Provide cleaning after meetings and special events when necessary.

* Thoroughly clean bathrooms and kitchen fixtures and floors daily and spot clean during the week as needed.

* Replenish supplies in the bathroom on a daily basis.

* Empty all trash cans in the facility on a daily basis and place in the trash receptacle.

* Inspect and clean common areas of facility.

* Maintain inventory of all housekeeping supplies and provide list to program manager.

* Hose down sidewalk and clean windows weekly.

* Clean trash and debris from the walkways, parking lot and grounds on a daily basis.

* Remove snow and ice from walkways, parking lot to maintain safe access to the facility.

* Replace florescent and incandescent light bulbs throughout the facility.

* Maintain minimal repair and maintenance schedule for facility making minor repairs to walls and wood work (e.g., repair small holes, paint, repair door closures, etc.).

* Maintain supply room and storage areas in an organized manner to ensure access to supplies and stored equipment.


* HS Diploma or GED;

* One to two years job-related experience.


* Must be capable of properly lifting packages up to 75 lbs.

* Just have good organizational skills.
