Job Description

Lead cyber exercise planner supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) cybersecurity exercise program. Lead the coordination and planning, design, development, execution and evaluation of FAA's involvement in internal FAA-driven exercises and participation in external interagency (i.e., CYBERCOM, TRANSCOM, IC, DHS) exercises across the spectrum from table-tops to full scale exercises. Provide recommendations and support integration of cybersecurity-related functions, capabilities and operations into exercise objectives, scenarios and evaluations. Develop and maintain organizational exercise strategy and plans.

Responsibilities

* Coordinate across FAA to ensure participation of relevant stakeholders.

* Host and participate in exercise planning conferences (e.g, IPC, MPC, FPC) and meetings.

* Support exercise logistical and administrative planning and execution.

* Support scenario and inject development.

* Develop exercise objectives, desired outcomes and evaluation methodologies.

* Conduct after action reviews (AARs), analyze exercise results and develop lessons learned.

* Integrate of lessons learned into subsequent exercise planning and execution.

Requirements

* Minimum 6 years' experience in Exercise Planning.

* Cybersecurity exercise planning.

* Active Secret Security Clearance.

* 4 years' operational experience with FAA and National Airspace System (NAS)

Other

* Active Top Secret Clearance Preferred.

* Bachelor's Degree in related field; advanced degree preferred.

* Interagency exercise planning, coordination and execution.

* Knowledge of DoD and DHS exercise planning and execution process.

* Experience planning and participating in DoD-led exercises.
