The computer network defense analyst will develop, define, and implement security architectures, plans, policies, and procedures to improve organization and project security; evaluate and assess compliance with established information assurance security policies and regulations; evaluate the security posture of computer/network information systems and make recommendations for certification and approval; engage stakeholders to ensure that security is considered and implemented on all projects throughout the project life cycle; develop, research, publish, test, and update SOPs and Methodologies: standard operating procedures, tools, techniques and procedures; perform annual reviews and publication of programs including but not limited to: Attack Sensing and Warning Cells (AS&W), Forensic and Malware Analysis Cells (F&MA)and Incident Handling Cells (IH); develop and staff for approval Memorandums of Understanding / Agreement (MOU/A), Best Business Practices, (BBPs), and applicable DOD or service regulations; provide technical and administrative support to government staff during the identification, resolution, and tracking of computer security incidents or events; provide long-term and near-term computer network defense analysis and planning for resolving systemic and enterprise computer events or intrusions; conduct assessments of IT architectures to ensure compliance with current and emerging Computer Network Defense (CND) doctrine and concepts of operation and provide reports with recommended changes to the government CND architecture.


Computer network defense analysts with experience levels ranging from novice to expert will be considered for positions. Candidates will have a minimum of a Bachelors degree or equivalent.


Security clearance required varies by Task Order.


Washington D.C. Area (OCONUS varies by Task Order); travel is required.
