Supports the Demand Control Manager with communication between the Commercial, PE, Demand Planning, and Supply Planning teams to ensure that changes to the demand plan within the time fence are reviewed, communicated, and accurate delivery expectations are set. This role will be focused on working with Supply to review requests for forecast changes and abnormal demand orders as they come in. In addition this role will also be responsible for monitoring takes versus demand and identifying areas for improvement.

Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesAct as a support to the Demand Control Manager in interfacing between the global Commercial, PE, Demand Planning, and Supply Chain teams, ensuring open and consistent communication between all groups regarding Supply & Demand.

Facilitate the weekly meeting to align demand/supply within the planning time fence; monitor quality of agenda, attendee participation, and decisions taken.

Execute the escalation path when supply does not align with demand, ensuring timely decisions and communication.

Collaborate with stakeholders to make timely decisions on forecast changes within the demand time fence.

Coordinate with Supply Planning to determine if forecast changes inside the time fence can be supported.

Coordinate with PE to determine if product can be relocated to support new opportunities.

Lead collaboration with teams driving multiple forecast change requests and/or abnormal demand to identify how these should be treated and assess any process changes to mitigate or better manage these instances in the future.

Calculates the demand time fence and communicates these changes to the global organization.

Identifies and resolves abnormal demand orders as they are entered in the system

Calculates and completes the forecast roll each month.

Expected Areas of CompetenceExcellent interpersonal, influence, and presentation skill required.

Demonstrated ability creating analytical reports and presentations detecting shifts in ordering patterns and forecast consumption abnormalities.

Full understanding of the end to end Supply Chain, and the impacts each area has on another.

Education/Experience Requirements5-7 years of experience in demand planning preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or related discipline.

APICS Certification preferred.
