You will be working with chemicals and should be comfortable doing such - either with previous experience or the willingness to learn.

Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment Position Type: Temporary Requisition Number: ESRXJP00032075 Positions Requested: 1 Rate Info: Bill Rate: 25.41 OT Bill Rate: DT Bill Rate: Job Description: TEMP TO HIRE POSITIONSDescriptionPAYRATE IS 12.50/HR DAY SHIFTCandidates needs to be available between the hours of 8am - 8pm please see work schedule Shift will be 9am-8pm 4 ten hr day, with 1 day off during week - Candidates are working in a Pharmacy environment, these are not desk positions- These are ENTRY LEVEL positions- Looking for candidates with great interpersonal skills, customer service possibly, fast-paced environment experience, professional demeanor- Would look at candidates with previous or current Pharmacy or medical background, but if they don t have that and are looking to get into that, they would considerAdditional Info from HM:- Positions are temp-to-hire, if hired on pay is increased to 13/hr and if contractor seeks out getting Pharmacy Tech certified once hired on, pay increased to 13.50/hr- No testing required- Looking for more Pharmacy experience than warehouse experience Retail Pharmacy/cashier - There will be Face-to-Face interviews conducted for these positionsPOSITION SUMMARY: Pharmacy Technician - No certification is required, but previous experience in a Pharmacy environment would be extremely beneficial and preferred Prepare new prescription and refill orders. Select and retrieve appropriate medications, compound and dispense medical prescriptions, verify quantities and prepare labels for bottles. Send order to Pharmacist for completion. Pre pack medications from manufactures bottle to use in dispensing medication in the quick pick areas. Prepare medications for shipment. Replenish work station supplies such as pill bottles, caps, safety seals and paper. Clean Equipment. May operate, refill and clean pill counting machine. Will be responsible for packing medication and supplies.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:The 5 or 6 major task areas required of the incumbents to successfully perform in this job. This list should address at least 80 percent of the jobs content. Weight: Total = 100 1. Prepare / pick prescription orders 402. Pack orders in boxes / coolers w/ ice 403. Complete ancillary support functions 10QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum requirements to competently perform the key responsibilities of this job in terms of educational background, work experience, licenses/certifications or other knowledge, skills, and abilities.HS Diploma or equivalency requiredExperience in a retail pharmacy or other medical setting preferredFamiliar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within dispensing pharmacyVery detail orientedExcellent organization skillsAbility to adapt in a dynamic work environment, learn quickly, solve problems and make decisions.General PC knowledgeWillingness to work a flexible schedule for peak timesAbility to stand for long periods of timeADDITIONAL NOTES:Express Scripts is a high performance organization.
