Job Description Senior Lethality Systems Engineer Supporting PEO - Ground Combat Systems Essential Job Functions: Develop and/or provide input to plans of execution to include scope, budget, resource needs, material needs and schedule. Perform requirements analysis, design, implementation, test and installation of existing command and control subsystems onto the combat vehicle system. Coordinate between project managers, production facilities and US Army Depots. Represent our customer PM office to other Army organizations and to PM office contractors. Develop and review engineering and contractual Scopes of Work (SOWs) for prime contractor. Interface daily with customers and other DoD organizations to solve problems. Review technical documents (ICDs, Mechanical drawings, requirements, and performance specifications). Travel as required. International Travel Possible.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering plus 8 years of experience. There are multiple levels associated with this job category. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance. Experience with vehicle production at US Army Depot. Electrical, computer, and/or systems engineering experience. Project management and production leadership experience. Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

TACOM, PEO

Ground Combat Systems and PEO offices within the Army Materiel Command. Understanding of the Army acquisition process.
