What will you do?

The HCM and Total Rewards Analyst is a member of the HR Technology Services (HRTS) team and will support the portfolio of projects and services of Human Resources (HR) with a specific focus on core HR and Total Rewards. This techno-functional role will be primarily responsible for the business relationship between HRTS and Total Rewards, with a heavy focus on the use of Workday as Thermo Fisher's HCM solution. However, other HR Technology solutions within Total Rewards will also be supported.

* Responsible for gathering system and business requirements for Total Rewards system enhancements

* Supports existing HR technology systems and processes as they relate to Total Rewards (i.e. annual compensation planning, benefit enrollment, Workday business processes)

* Analyze business requirements to determine system configuration solutions; documentation of requirements, solutions and impacts, alternatives and final decisions

* Where Workday is the solution, configure the system per customer requirements

* Assists the HR customer with testing

* Monitors Workday Community for best practice and new functionality in Compensation, and participates in the semi-annual release process as the Compensation SME

How will you get here?

* 2-3 years' experience configuring Core and Advanced Compensation in Workday for a large, global, complex organization; Workday Pro accreditation or previous Workday consultant certification a plus

* 3-5 years' HR business or internal/external systems consulting experience; specifically supporting Total Rewards a plus

* Strong focus on customer service

* Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities

* Strong project management skills

* Ability to work within restrictive deadlines

* Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience

* Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision

* Proven ability to effectively lead and partner with various levels of the organization

* Good knowledge of MS tools (e.g. Excel, Powerpoint, Project)

* An undergraduate degree is required; a Masters/MBA in a related field and/or project management certification a plus.
