The Business Partner, Commercial Sales Operations will report directly to Senior Director of Global Sales Operations. This position can be located in one of the following offices: Hudson, OH, Chicago, IL, or Waltham, MA.

This person is responsible for providing direct Sales Operation support to a CE Segment. This individual will work closely with Segment GM and Sales Leadership to achieve the company's global revenue and profit goals.

You will act as a trusted advisor to the Segment GM's and VP's and will be essential to driving salesforce productivity and maximizing revenue growth within the Segment through the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of sales operations programs and initiatives including planning, reporting, quota setting and management, sales process optimization, sales compensation, and the use and integrity of CRM's enabling the Segment sales team to scale rapidly. Working cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, and Marketing you will help enable the Segment sales team to make nimble, effective and strategically impactful decisions regarding growth and overall revenue.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Working with the Segment GM and Sales Leadership outline, provide and maintain analysis of sales/channel performance and productivity, activity against key performance indicators and other set dashboards and reporting to provide insight into the state of sales

* Drive sales forecasting and pipeline meetings and outcomes

* Working closely with the Manager of Segment Sale Operation and Segment GM's, to ensure delivery on all facets of sales planning including territory design, quota setting and commissions for the segment

* Analyze metrics to identify opportunities for driving revenue growth and sales efficiency

* Collaborating with Marketing to ensure the Segment leaders have the necessary customer and market penetration data analysis

* Work closely with the Finance team to design and implement an incentive compensation plans to encourage pay for performance and top talent recognition

* Strong collaboration with our Sales Enablement team to ensure all programs including, product, marketing, systems changes and or launches, new hire and on-going sales training are delivered effectively for your segment

* Optimize the effectiveness of tools, (CRM (Salesforce, etc.), to present a comprehensive pipeline, tracking opportunities from lead generation to revenue realization, account development and retention

* Develop expertise in the Segment specific customer markets and solutions

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

* 5+ years in sales operations, preferred

* 5 years of software sales experience preferred, but not required

* Strong understanding of enterprise selling processes, SaaS business model

* Excellent analytical and business process skills

* Expertise in Salesforce and other sales related software and tools

* Highly organized with extreme attention to details

* Collaborative approach to problem solving

* Strong team-player approach

* Exceptional communication skills

* Comfortable working with the sales teams from sales rep level to VP Sales / GM and senior members of other functions
