A Registered Respiratory Therapist is an individual who has been registered by the National board for Respiratory Care, Inc., after successfully completing all education, experience, and examination requirements. * Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy or

* Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy - Preferred

* RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist License - Current California - Required

* BLS - Basic Life Support - Certification - Required

* NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program - Certification - Preferred

* PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support - Certification - Current California - Preferred
