About the Position:

Employees occupying these positions will provide emergency support to disaster stricken areas throughout the US Employee must pass a stringent medical screening and be prepared to live and work in extremely austere conditions. Work schedule will initially be arduous, with much overtime. Sleeping arrangements may be limited to using a sleeping bag or in the vehicle used to move from location to location. The duty station for pay purposes for these positions is Kennewick, WA.

* Perform all tasks necessary to insure that the organization's human capital, administrative and personnel support activities are accomplished in a professional, efficient and effective manner.

* Determine ongoing and one-time analysis related to existing or projected program and manning needs.

* Oversee the preparation of civilian personnel information.

* Participate in installation process action, cross-functional or functional teams to design, improve, operate, or re-engineer human capital, environmental or other processes.

* Manage personnel security for the organization.

* Initiate all security clearances and periodic reinvestigations.

* Utilize the Electronic Personnel Security Database and the DoD Joint Personnel Adjudication System's Database.

Travel Required

75% or less - Business Travel up to 75% of the time is required for this position.

* Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

* This position requires you to satisfactorily complete a medical examination.

* This position requires 75% or greater business travel in various locations throughout the United States

* This position is a Temporary Position; that may be extended up to a maximum of four years TERM Position.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience providing analysis, coordination and management of administrative and personnel projects; and evaluating program procedures and processes. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-7).
