About the Position:

Employees occupying these positions will provide emergency support to disaster stricken areas throughout the US Employee must pass a stringent medical screening and be prepared to live and work in extremely austere conditions. Work schedule will initially be arduous, with much overtime. Sleeping arrangements may be limited to using a sleeping bag or in the vehicle used to move from location to location. The duty station for pay purposes for these positions is Kennewick, WA.

Responsibilities

* Prepare, present, and provide the justification of Reemployed Annuitants Office portion of the Command Operating Budget.

* Provide financial administration of contracts, and automated data management systems.

* Manage all funds and is responsible for any legal or administrative misappropriation or over-obligation.

* Manage automated management systems such as CEFMS, CERAMMS, FORCON and other related systems used to manage project funding.

Travel Required

75% or less - Business Travel up to 75% of the time is required for this position.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience performing financial administration of contracts, and automated data management systems; advises about funding problems in any proposed execution plans; and managing automated management systems such as Corps of Engineers Financial Management Systems (CEFMS).

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
