About the Position: Employees occupying these positions will provide emergency support to disaster stricken areas throughout the US. Employee must pass a stringent medical screening and be prepared to live and work in extremely austere conditions. Work schedule will initially be arduous, with much overtime. Sleeping arrangements may be limited to using a sleeping bag or in the vehicle used to move from location to location. The duty station for pay purposes for these positions is Kennewick, WA.

Responsibilities

* Conduct and complete projects which require the writing of staff studies, decision papers, information papers, local policy, local directives, and related correspondence.

* Solicit input and designs work efforts to gain overall support for programs and actions.

* Plan strategies, decision making processes, control systems, and organizes intra staff development of objectives.

* Serve as project principle for projects pertaining to Maintenance Management.

* Analyze logistics activities and make recommendations for improvement of and changes in the maintenance program operations.

75% or less - Business Travel up to 75% of the time is required for this position.

* Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

* This position requires 75% or greater Business Travel in various locations throughout the United States.

* This position requires you to satisfactorily complete a medical examination.

* This position is a Temporary Position; that may be extended up to a maximum of four years TERM Position.
