Job Description

Position Summary

The Human Resources Intern will provide functional and transactional support to the Corporate HR team members and their respective client groups employing his/her knowledge and experience in the application of Human Resource principles, practices and tools in support of the broader Finance team. The HR Intern will also assist with special projects as needed.


* Perform HR responsibilities within assigned client groups to include, but not limited to: maintaining real time hire reports, coordinating new hires onboarding attendance, drafting HR communications, creating presentations, facilitating training sessions, and serving as a committee member on related HR panels.

* Support with special projects related to fiscal year 2019 objectives.

* Support & "Champion" delivery of HR programs through data collection, document creation, and communication drafting.

* Provide administration support related to expenses and budgeting, meetings and event planning.

* Partner with vendors to coordinate scheduling and facilitating sessions.

* Partner with the facilities team to update office space records regarding new hires and transfer employees.

* Provide excellent customer service to assigned client group.

Preferred Qualifications

* Two years of college preferred with an emphasis in Human Resources

* Minimum GPA of 3.0 required

* Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel

Physical Requirements/Work Environment
