Director, Strategic Accounts

POSITION OVERVIEW

Alarm.com, a rapidly expanding entrepreneurial technology company, is seeking an ambitious, self-directed individual with proven experience in Security Sales and/or Business Development sales operations. This position is ideal for the candidate who seeks a entrepreneurial company where one can work closely with smart and highly productive people across a spectrum of wireless, software, and hardware/device technologies to develop outstanding consumer products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Director of Strategic Accounts primary job responsibilities will include:

* Present the Alarm.com value proposition to strategic, targeted accounts

* Develop and manage the Strategic Accounts Sales Funnel

* Prospect for new Strategic Opportunities in targeted segments

* Become the initial point of contact for converted accounts until those accounts are transitioned to the field team

* Maintain a fluid report that tracks prospects and closed deals

* Work with Field Sales to create custom training and support programs for converted accounts

* Drive growth of targeted opportunities as they become active Alarm.com Dealers

* Attend industry events

* Attend customer events

REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelor's Degree required; Master's degree a plus

* 5+ Years of security sales and/or Business Development

* Experience in new dealer "hunting", customer development, and relationship management including C-level Executives

* Experience with complex negotiations

* Background/familiarity with Security Industry a plus

* Travel up to 75%
