Join the Coram/CVS Health team as a Customer Care Coordinator and you will lead and develop a team of customer service representatives resolving patient issues and that patient orders are able to be processed in an accurate and efficient manner. This role will directly impact delivering cost effective solutions for our patients. Must have excellent written and verbal customer service skills and advanced computer skills in order to interact with key stakeholders and patients.
As a Customer Care Coordinator , you will...
Resolve reimbursement issues with patient accounts, sales team, and management team.
Assist with training, coaching and feedback, scheduling and organizes work assignments.
Support Patient Intake team with tasks and takes escalated calls.
Process orders from referral sources and patients, responding to phone and fax inquiries, and resolving patient complaints.
Assess patient needs and document referral requests for coordination of care.
Provide information pertaining to equipment supplies and services to applicable departments in order to bring a patient on service with the Company.
Coordinate with the Insurance Verification Team to process patient details and collect benefit coverage information.
Relay insurance coverage to referral sources and patients and discuss forms required for billing with patients.

This is a full-time, permanent, benefited position and is NOT through an agency. Typical work hours for this role are Monday Friday, 8:30AM 5:00PM, with an opportunity for over-time as needed.

Minimum two years experience performing customer service, healthcare data entry, or insurance verification work.
* Experience working with healthcare insurance verification or obtaining medical authorizations.
* Data entry experience.
* Experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook and Word.
* Proficient to advanced PC skills including MS Office, specifically Excel, Outlook and Word
Home infusion or durable medical equipment (DME) experience
High School diploma or GED required.
