Telephone Sales Associate (TSA)

The TSA is responsible for representing TCIM Services client's products to the clients customers in a courteous, professional and effective manner. To achieve this, the TSA must develop good telephone communication skills and a clear understanding of the company's policies and procedures. The TSA must have strong verbal communication skills and the ability to master the details of specific products from various industries. The TSA must be able to master basic sales skills and meet center production stands from both an inbound and outbound perspective.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Demonstrate telephone communication skills consistently conveying a courteous and professional impression and a conversational quality to their presentations.

* Accurately handle information, including data entry

* Interact in a friendly, professional team oriented manner with co-workers and leaders.

* Participate in the continuous improvement corporate philosophy

* Be responsive and receptive to feedback and coaching

* Be an effective listener and to be able to recognize poor listening

* Understand and actively work toward accomplishment of center and individual goals.

* Display the confidence and assertiveness necessary to sell

* Understand, learn, and distinguish multiple programs.

* Become familiar with relevant program data, including current scripting/call guides; product promotional materials, direct mail and advertising; training and human resources materials; system information; current; and other information as provided by clients.

* Attend training to learn initial and updated program requirements and skills.

* Perform other related duties as requested or required.

Customer service or sales experience preferred, but not always required, depending on current program profiles.


Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.


Ability to work with mathematical concept and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.


Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
