Job Description:

As a Systems Administrator working with CareATC, your purpose will be to ensure ongoing operation, performance and security of services for CareATC corporate offices and clinics. You will be part of a team supporting CareATCs efforts to expand clinic offerings, locations and analytics platform. You will be providing administrative support for a primarily Windows and SIP based infrastructure operating within a healthcare environment. You will tackle challenging, unique situations every day and work with other functions and employees within CareATC as well as our customers. You will be looked upon as a subject matter expert and advocate to fellow team members on making reliable technical decisions around supporting and administering services and end user computing devices. The successful candidate for this role will have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, experience in administrating multi technology platforms and brands of product, solid communication skills and a desire to tackle the complex problems

Responsibilities:

* Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.

* Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.

* Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.

* Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.

* Contribute to and maintain system standards.

* Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.

* Develops procedures to maintain security and protect systems from unauthorized use, acts of nature and user abuse.

* Teir 3 support to lower level analysts

Qualifications and Skills:

* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field and 3+ years work related experience or an equivalent combination of work experience of 9+ years.

* Experience with healthcare industry best practice as is relates to administering commonplace technology systems.

* Advanced knowledge of Windows 10, 8, 7 and related group policy.

* Intermediate knowledge of network design and security.

* Intermediate understanding of IP/SIP based voice networks.

* Strong customer service skills.

* Demonstrate a very strong work ethic.

* Works independently.

* Ability to effectively communicate ideas and concepts, both verbal and written to all levels within the organization.

* Have strong analytic & critical thinking skills. Have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

* Adapt to different working styles within the IT department as well as other departments within the organization.
