Kiln/Furnace Burner Watchman Day Shift 6:am-6:00pm and Night Shift 6:00pm-6:00am

Day Shift Pay: $17.00 hr.

Night Shift Pay $18.00 Hr.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Will be running the kiln/furnace that makes brick
• Transfer kiln cars in and out of furnace. Making sure they are not bunching up and are all aligned.
• monitor the furnace for adjustments
• make changes in temperature as needed.
• change the burners.
• monitor brick quality and inspect for problems.
• must be computer literate.
• must be a problem solver with the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• must be able to gather and analyse information skillfully.
• basic math skills

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be able to use a computer for Data Entry
• Mechanically inclined
• Must be able to work Holidays
• Will train 2 weeks on days then move to nights
