OfficeTeam is currently seeking a Certified Medical Coder for a nonprofit company located in Tucson, Arizona. The Certified Medical Coder will be assisting with a software conversion and must have a strong background in coding. Certified Medical Coder Job Duties: ? Review and code diagnostic information to Medicare/Medicaid and 3rd party insurance providers ? Confirm insurance verification and benefit eligibility ? Assign correct ICD 9/10 codes ? Certified Medical Coder Job Qualifications: ? Advanced knowledge of ICD 9/10 and CPT coding ? Certificate or AA degree in Medical Billing/Coding ? Coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC ? Experience with Dental Billing is highly preferred ? Experience with NextGen is highly preferred ? Must possess a valid Arizona Driver's License ? Must pass a TB skin test or Chest X-Ray, all candidates required to undergo drug screening, and Criminal all candidates required to undergo background check
