The Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering (AME) at the University of Arizona invites applications for a tenure-track/tenured faculty position in nonequilibrium processes related to high-speed flows. Technical expertise in areas of plasma physics, chemical reactions, reacting flows and computational physics is desired. Candidates with demonstrated knowledge in theory and new computational approaches will be viewed favorably. Appointments may be at all levels and rank, although Assistant Professor is envisioned. The position can begin as early as January 2019.
