Pricing and Contract Sales Analyst

Position Summary:

The Pricing and Contract Sales Analyst position is responsible for the review and administration of all contracts and pricing agreements. Communicate with contracting parties on all aspects concerning fulfillment of contractual obligations. Works closely with accounting, customer service and sales to ensure terms of the agreements are followed by all parties. They will provide advanced analytical support and reporting to the Corporate Account and Business Unit Sales Management teams while assisting Customers with pricing verification and correction, where necessary.

Essential Functions:

Pricing and Contract Sales Analyst:

* Coordinate contract/pricing agreements with sales force and customers

* Contact appropriate parties, notifying them of expiration and initiate follow up as needed to renew agreement in a timely manner

* Compile and calculate contracts and pricing agreements for input into internal systems

* Monitor and ensure agreements are locked in until expiration date and price increases do not affect customers until they are notified accordingly

* Maintain and update Contract and Price Agreement files

* Resolve all pricing discrepancies relating to contracts and price agreement with assistance of Collection Specialists

* Validate pricing for all credit/re-bills

* Interface with Business Unit Managers to resolve any discrepancies with contracts that cross over business units

* Provide reporting and analytical support to Accounting, Sales and Customer Service departments

* Alert management of any contracts or price agreements that do not fall within Company guidelines

* Point of contact for daily operational questions as it relates to contracts and price agreements

* Assist with processing credits/re-bills

* Collaborating and assisting CAM, Customers and Customer Service teams with contract and pricing implementation to provide a seamless customer experience

* Expert level knowledge of internal reporting systems and their capabilities

* Developing Sales reports and financial scenarios for Corporate Account Managers, Sales Managers and VPs of DCS and Sales

* Developing and maintain a new system of Contract Expiration management

* Coordinating with internal IT to create custom reports and recommend continuous improvement to current sales tracing and commission payment systems

* Manage any existing and newly developed rebate programs.

* Maintain exhaustive customer and product knowledge through collaboration with Corporate Account and Distribution Management Team

* Establish and manage rebate programs.This would include Distributor promotion and rebate programs along with pricing rebate programs for direct business. Tie rebates to territory commission numbers.

* Establish and manage aspects of contract pricing.

* Able to load pricing into the system, on demand, while continuing to streamline the process

* Ability to complete and submit price files based on customer formats

* Manage and process GPO contract sales reports and administrative fee calculations

* Contract point of contact for field and customer inquiries

* General administrative duties to include processing and/or preparation of internal or external paperwork as required.

* May perform additional duties and special assignments as directed by management.


* Minimum Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University.

* Related experience, of a minimum of 3 years in managing and administering Pricing and Contracting analytics

* Advance knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Office Software.

* Medical device and/or pharmaceutical sales analytics would be preferred

* Demonstrated ability to work with other departments to form collaborative and cooperative work/project groups to implement requirements of various reports.

* High energy and self-motivated.

* Self-Motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal instruction.

* Effective professional communication skills both verbally and written, as appropriate for the audience.
