* Work with technical project managers to identify project scope, establish budgets, and develop project schedules.

* Develop and maintain embedded C/C++ software, work in the embedded Linux environment, develop in Qt, implement vehicle bus communication drivers and application software, develop AUTOSAR compliant software, perform software integration work and develop within the ROS environment

* Proficient with C/C++ and assembly language for low level software (BSW) development, working knowledge of embedded software development tools such as compilers, debuggers and simulators.

* Working knowledge of NXP/Freescale based 32-bit microcontrollers. Develop diagnostics protocol and vehicle networking for use in automotive ECU's. Working knowledge of low level driver software development on automotive ECUs ex: Bootloader, MCALS, Hardware I/Os.

* Develop custom software solutions in both team and lone environments. Identify software tools and techniques that will benefit the project. Manage code quality control and validation.

* Working on leading-edge vehicle systems such as ADAS, Cyber Security, Safety, and Hybrid and EV related projects. Integration of electronic control units into various applications.

* Designing and troubleshooting vehicle electrical systems, components, and wiring

Qualifications:

* Required Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred) in EE, CS, or CE (or equivalent experience) 2-3 years embedded software development experience (including college projects)

* Must have project experience with Embedded Linux, implementing vehicle communication bus protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, etc.), AUTOSAR, and software integration.

* Experience with utilizing ROS (Robot Operating System) Experience with computer vision algorithms (i.e. OpenCV, MATLAB)

* Working experience with Qt a plus.

* Embedded software experience with C/C++ programming languages

* Review, test and verification of embedded controller software Interface with customers, engineers, and technical project managers to develop software requirements, schedules and budgets

* Motivated, with ability to work with minimal guidance

* Ability to read and understand hardware schematics and use for software debug & test.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

* Familiarity with environmental sensing (LIDAR, RADAR, Ultrasonic, Stereovision) GPU programming (i.e. CUDA)

* RTOS software development experience

* Python experience in an embedded environment Code development according to software coding standards as well as AUTOSAR

* Experience using intra processor communications SPI, I2C, SCI

* Proficiency in learning new microcontroller/microprocessor platforms, IDEs, tools, etc.ADAS
